A brief introduction to one of the lucky, selected restaurants that’s featured in EATSingapore 2016. To see and read more about all restaurants have a look here.

When we think of Argentina it’s tango, football, breathtaking beautiful nature and of course steak! BoCHINche definitely doesn’t disappoint here – fresh, grass-fed beef is flown in from the motherland and can be ordered any way you like it. Delicioso! When you’re not up for a big juicy steak, try the Sea bass ceviche or the Cured trout, both absolutely worth trying.

Sharing the passion for food
BoCHINche celebrates the nation’s great passion for food and the social custom of gathering to dine with exciting small plates for sharing. This is why they offer a range of tapas style hot and cold plates that are perfect for sharing – what do you think of a Watermelon salad, Ox tongue or the more traditional Iberico cold cuts? Make sure you give some of the hot plates a chance as well like the Classic Provoleta, Crab & Humita croquettes or the Caramalized pork belly. There are too many delicious options really.

And even more food
Besides the tapas style plates BoCHINche has a range of dishes from the grill like the steak or Iberico pork chops or Ox cheeks. Last but not least – leave some room for dessert! The BoCHINche Mess or Milk Cake are some of our favourites.

An evening at BoCHINche
When we go here for dinner we prefer to grab a drink at the balcony first – which is very breezy and a great way to start your evening and catch up before sitting down for dinner. Try the house cocktails made from unique ingredients like Fernet Branca and Yerba Buena Tea or have a look at the curated list of wines from around Argentina to start the night.

Let’s have some fun!
The restaurant’s interior is a colourful mix with natural elements like wood, leather and plants (even hanging from the ceiling!) and catchy wordplays like ‘We raised the steaks’ and ‘Don’t cry for meat Argentina.’ You can choose to sit at the counter to see Chef Fabrice and his team at work – or at one of the tables with comfy chairs or couches tucked away in private corners.

To finish off your night
Before you leave make sure to have a look at the deli to bring some of the amazing food home with you. The cold cuts, wines, sauces, steak – you name and they sell it. All available so you can prolong your memories of the evening and continue at home.
Make sure you bring your copy of EATSingapore with you as well to get the second main course on the house AND to get it signed by the chef or GM to make it a memorabilia of your evenings out in Singapore.
