Inspired by an Osaka yakitori-ya, Bincho’s unique dining concept showcases a neat mix of Singapore’s past, present and future.

Remnants of a 70-year old kopitiam, the traditional Mee Pok Uncle continues to peddle his morning offerings of classic noodles, coffee and toast. Come nightfall, wander in via the inconspicuous back door to an industrial-chic, open-concept yakitori bar headed by Chef Asai Masashi. Progressive Japanese-inspired cocktails, plus an extensive Japanese whisky, sake and shochu list also shouldn’t be missed.

Dinner menus at Bincho can be enjoyed as set menu or a la carte. Both feature seasonal produce from a range of Japanese prefectures. Specialising in tori (chicken), highlights include Tsukune-don – a hearty and tasty chicken meatball with a raw egg yolk and moreish Mentaiko-stuffed Chicken Wings.
